Spectrum OSO Asia offers specialized due diligence investigations for hedge funds and private equity funds. These are essentially corporate due diligence inquiries providing intelligence on listed companies throughout Asia, as well as inquiries on government investment funds that are considering taking major shareholding in listed firms. As many Asian companies are controlled by families, either directly or through nominees, their management is frequently influenced by relations between siblings and parents. Often there are competing personalities and generational conflicts that impact decision making. We have learned that understanding the historical and current dynamics of these relationships is imperative in adequately analyzing most Asian corporate groups.

The three managing partners of Spectrum OSO team have a combined  70 years experience investigating Asian companies. We have worked in every country in the region and developed a comprehensive data base of contacts on most large groups and their subsidiaries. If we do not have existing knowledge of a particular company we know how to access it, and how to  accomplish this discreetly.
