KENNETH C. THOMPSON has completed a 25 year career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Over the course of his FBI career, he developed and managed cutting edge investigative programs used to uncover and prosecute cases of intellectual property theft and industrial espionage in California’s Silicon Valley. Mr. Thompson developed preventive programs to suppress Silicon Valley microprocessor and computer thefts which were rampant throughout the industry in the 1990’s. In addition, Mr. Thompson provided counsel and advice to the private sector on such issues as workplace violence, armed takeover robberies, kidnap and ransom, hostage taking, corporate internal fraud and site security. He has lectured and been an instructor at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. |
