J.T. SIKES, Director, has been resident in Asia for the past 23 years, and has been involved in undertaking investigations since 1994. He operated his own firm in Singapore during the late 1990s, and over the past 10 years has been involved in over 200 fraud, due diligence and special situation investigations throughout the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Sikes spent 12 years as a business journalist based in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok. In the early 1980s he specialized in energy reporting, and was a major contributor to the Far Eastern Economic Review. He then joined the Asian edition of the Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong as Worldwide Editor, and moved to Bangkok as Southeast Asia Correspondent for Financial Times Business Information. After attending the University of Minnesota, Mr. Sikes began his career in broadcast journalism as News Director of WWNO radio in New Orleans, a National Public Radio affiliate, and KDMA radio in Minnesota. He later became Radio Co-ordinator and Speechwriter for the Minnesota Republican Party. |
