Paul Bromberg Adviser to G2E Asia 2009 |

Paul Bromberg, Chief Operating Officer of Spectrum OSO Asia, is to be a member of the Conference Advisory board for G2E Asia 2009. Paul will bring to the board his extensive knowledge of the Asian gaming market and its players, and will be assisting in defining the topics and identifying speakers for the conference in association with G2E and the American Gaming Association. Global Gaming Expo’s (G2E) show, G2E Asia, is the largest and most important gaming exhibition and conference in Asia. In 2009 it is to be held in the region's premier exhibition venue, the Venetian Macao, this coming June 2-4. Macau's Casinos Urged to Target Mass-Market Gamblers |
By Kelvin Wong and Frank Longid June 6 (Bloomberg) -- Macau's casino industry, which surpassed the Las Vegas Strip in gaming revenue in 2006, should lure more mass-market tourists instead of relying on high rollers from China, analysts and industry officials said. The former Portuguese colony, the only place in China where casinos are legal, is in a ``perilous situation'' because companies are chasing ``growth that cannot be sustained,'' Norman MacKillop, the Macau head of gaming industry investigator Spectrum OSO Asia, said in an interview. |
